Recommended oil change interval for Mercedes-Benz cars to ensure optimal engine health. Post 95 cars with 722.6 box (5 speed) - sealed for life. Post 2005 cars with 722.9 box (7 speed) - trans oil changed once at 37.5k miles.

Had my A200 2019 serviced last week, said i still need to arrange to have my automatic gear box oil change with mercedes, costs £3-£400, wasnt included in full service with cazoo. How often does this need swapping out? Ive read its 10kmiles but also read 40k somewhere online.

It is not the gearbox, I have that gearbox in the E350, but that is NA and I think that is your problem, I think it is the car coming off boost when the gear change happens that gives you the jolt. I would guess Mercedes have not programmed the gear change at the right point in the torque curve, which is something that they might no be able to

Meaning no matter what torque you apply, it makes no difference for the gasket. Breaking. or loosing the bolt is potential for different issue.
